Firearms Requirements
- Originals and reproductions of firearms manufactured during the early to
late 1800's, including Colts, Winchesters, Remingtons, Smith & Wessons,
Marlins, Sharps, and Henrys, are allowed as long as they are in safe shooting
condition.
- Single Action Pistol with or without adjustable sights
- Lever Action Rifle or Carbine
- Tube fed (no box magazines)
- Exposed hammer
- Pistol Caliber (.32, .38/.357, 45 colt, 44-40, etc.)
- 16" or longer barrel
- Shotgun
- Side by Side with or without external hammers (No Automatic Ejectors)
- Any Lever or Pump action with exposed hammer
- 18" or longer barrel
- Long Range Rifle
- External Hammer, Lever or Single Shot
- Either Pistol or Rifle Caliber
Ammunition Requirements
- Pistol:
- Lead or Lead Alloy Bullets Only (NO gas checks, copper washed, or jacketed
bullets)
- Maximum velocity - 1000fps
- Minimum velocity - 650fps
- Lever Action Rifle
- Lead or Lead Alloy Bullets Only (NO gas checks, copper washed, or jacketed
bullets)
- Pistol caliber
- Maximum Velocity - 1400 fps
- Long Range Rifle
- Lead or Lead Alloy Bullets Only (gas checks may be used but NO jacketed or
copper washed bullets)
- No Long Range Rifle Velocity Restrictions
